Good Emerald Theme Recommendations

The current Emerald theme I have is not suiting me.

Any recommendations?

Nice! I think I'll get it. It doesn't even look like Aero except for the window border.

Where can I get it?

Umm, you can search OSX Aero on Google, Gnome-look.org, or Gnome-art.org under emerald themes. Install and apply that, and then search for OSX - theme under Metacity themes. You can apply an emerald and metacity theme both at one time - emerald is a decorations manager (I think that's what its called), and metacity is the Gnome window manager.

To apply an emerald theme, you go to the Emerald theme manager. To apply a metacity theme, you go to system->prefs->appearance.

Yep. I have my emerald all set up with the left side pre-set. But, that aero decoration is just looking amazing. If I can get on tomorrow morning, I'll set it in. Thanks.

Yeah, I have always liked the aero decorations, but the mac overall style much better. This combo gives the best of both worlds and looks good with any dock or gnome panel.

Hmm. I couldn't find it. Can you tell me how to add a glow like yours to my already mac-style Emerald theme?

Ok. First, go to this link:
http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/3216/86896reflectionvistaqm0.png. Save the picture to ~/Pictures.

Then, go to System->Prefs->Advanced Desktop Effects Settings. Scroll down and click on the "Reflection" button to go into the Reflection menu. Where it says "Reflection image", browse to the picture you just saved.

Click the checkbox to enable reflection, and you're good to go.
