Right.

I have two questions.

1. I have ubuntu 8.04 beta, i know 8.04 comes out in 15 days so will i have to download the 8.04 and install like that, or will i be able to update it through the beta version? baring in mind im using wubi(its ubuntu installed inside windows)

2. I would like a bigger space on my partion for my ubuntu use. Will i have to re-install to add more space?

1. Yes you can update.

2. You do NOT have to reinstall. Just install Partition Editor and increase the partition Size.

If that does not work, you can do it through the Live CD. You may have to Shrink one of your other Partitions to make available Space.

All the Partition thing is assuming you installed Outside of Windows onto a separate partition.

Your disk has to be unmounted to edit the partitions. Make sure you unmount it - if you have one hard drive this requires booting off the live cd (either gparted or ubuntu).
