Am I just unlucky with Gusty Gibbon?

I have just installed Ubuntu, and keep on getting errors. Stuff like random reboots, hibernating not working ect...

Anyone else have these kinds of problems?

If you have just installed it why the hell are you using Gutsy??

The latest is Hardy Heron...

If you install Hardy the problems might go away, its much better than Gutsy.

And if you do have hardy installed and are calling it gutsy erroneously, can you be a bit more specific about the problems?

Ya just bump up to Hardy but what might be wrong is you arn't using the right version of Gusty for you computer.

You know I'm a Linux noob when I forget it was Hardy Heron instead. The probs seem to have ended, my only prob now, is the compiz cube doesn't activate with the activation keys pressed.

Well you have to reinstall compiz or activate it since its already installed in Hardy.

Its the most noob-friendly linux distribution there is, theres a massive community support forum to help you along the way too.
