Hi.
I've tried SimonRichards150's tutorial on booting Linux from a USB drive (http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63281) and at the moment, I can't get it to boot from CD.

I put the disc in, select "Boot Linux without any effect to my PC" and the response I get is:

LOADING LINUX KERNEL
[----------------------------------] 100%

and it stays like that..

Then I shut down my PC, and tried to check the disc for errors - Same response as above.

What's wrong? :| or does this process take 20 mins? lol

EDIT: Boot back to Windows and I've lost all my bookmarks and themes for FireFox. :(

Don't follow a USB method on a CD. Anyway, Ubuntu allows you to boot from Live CD - in essence trying it out and not affecting your system. Just let it go by default and you should be fine. That would be my guess.

No no.
To be able to boot from a USB in the first place, you need to configure it via Linux - Which I've been trying to get onto (try out) from the CD, but I get that error and it freezes.. :(
