Hey guys im thinking about getting this laptop http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220260
Its nice and small and cheap. G4 gave it a 94% rating so it looks pretty good. I was wondering on how good the programs are for linux and if there were any torrent or p2p apps available on it. I dont know what distro i should use or what it comes with.
thanks

Ubuntu is a good choice. Get a bigger HDD for it though. Ubuntu comes with Transmission but there are others you can use.
It comes with something callled "Xandros" Linux. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xandros

You may want to wait for other companies to release their "netbooks" like this because they are supposed to be coming out this summer. The acer aspire one is just one of the other netbooks set to come out this summer with many options and a better processor and 8gb of memory for 379.99. Just something to look at before buying this and regretting it.
