dude i cannot find where to put it...i tried to do it like you said, renaming them and then putting it into springboard.app directory, but it didnt work. so then i tried to do /private/var/root/Library/Customize/CarrierImages/MyCarrierImages, MyCarrierImages is the folder I made, and then i restarted my ipod, and i can see it in customize on my ipod, but when i click on it, and say yes i want to select it, then it restarts, and its back to normal...help?

Could someone help me please. I have Customize on my iPod and Ive downloaded some packs from Installer and changed the carrier image in Customize to something different, but it doesn't change. What am I doing wrong??

If you're using Customize you'd have to make a copy of the image and rename add "-1" to the end. So it'd be something like
tenn.png and tenn-1.png

first of all, you should make sure that you have the latest edition of Customize installed on your ipod touch. also, you need to go to installer and find the "customize fix" thing to install. i dont remember what source it came from, but you may or may not need to go to the thread which lists all the sources and then add all of them to your installer. then, you should see a customize fix package somewhere, which is what you need. If you already have it then just uninstall/reinstall, which worked for me cause i installed it before i installed customize. hope this helps.... should work....

nah, it would all be the same thing. You need a more simpler image because when it gets resized it doesnt retain the letters or design

ok, they are posted individually and do not come up as one image when you save them...make sure you only right click when your above one specific image and it should work...

I like my CS3, I do notice better performance, but Premiere Pro CS3 is laggy. In the Adobe forums everyone has problems with it.

Thanks alot, although I cant seem to see the text due to it's colour(all black)... I'm using customize, any ideas on how I can see it on both the Springboard and Apps?

Ok I wanna request one...

Have it with the little yellow alien dude, then it says "Jeff's iPod"

I also have a question...Right now I have my carrier image with the yellow alien dude and it just says "iPod" next to him, and I sort've know what to do...But I still don't really understand how to change it...I think I got it to change by luck. I know you go into:

/System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app

and I know you get the image you want and name it FSO_CARRIER_IPOD and Default_CARRIER_IPOD, but I just tried changing it like that again, and now the one I tried changing it to, is only appearing when I bring applications up...The little yellow alien, is still there on my home screen. Then, when I try changing back to how it was before, I'm still stuck with the "iPod Touch" carrier image when I bring up applications.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't really know why the images aren't changing properly since I use Customize to change mine, but did you change the permissions to 755?
