Which is better to use with my 2.1 3g on a mac?

Im a fan of Pwnage just because I think its more stable (going through the whole restore process) But people have been absolutley !LOVING! quickpwn, so if I were you I would use quickpwn

The difference is Pwnage creates a custom firmware that you shift-click restore with in iTunes. But with QuickPwn you pwn right on the spot with a stock 2.x firmware.

I recommend QuickPwn if you want it done fast without a hassle and Pwnage if you want your own chosen boot logos.

quickpwn just jailbreaks. gives you cydia and insaller.

Pwnage tool can jailbreak and unlock a 1st gen iphone. It can also disable baseband updates to the 3G. adjust the root portion among other things. The great thing is it builds a custom FW you can use over and over again if you have to restore and when new FWs are released you just build another custom FW and restore to it. If your handy enough you can even build your own custom bundles to add more things to that FW.

But if all you want is a jailbreak then quickpwn is the way to go.

i've been fond of quickpwn lately. it's just so damn fast and you don't have to restore.

I used quickpwn 2.1 for my ipod touch, using this same version will be OK for my iPhone when i get it in a few weeks right?
