Well recently i have been using club.live.com a site where you can play games for points which you get prizes. And i chose the awesome Zune Premium Headphones.

The wire is made of a twine-like durable string. Much better than the rubber. Great for "chewers"

The earbud that sticks out of the back is magnetic so the two earbuds connect together.

There are 4 different sizes for the buds too, so they fit most ears.

These are probably the best earbuds i have ever used. And you can get them for 3,400 points on club.live and like $15-$40 online.

Overall 5 Stars of course for their long lasting awesomness.

Thanks for the heads up.
I might try these next time I break headphones.
I go through so many headphones.
Surprisingly , these sony ones I bought at the dollar store have lasted the longest so far.
And they don't even sound that bad.

The thing i like about the iPod headphones, is that the cord is thicker/stronger so it doesn't twist up and tangle.

I've had a lot of headphones, and the best I have ever had by far are Etymotic ER-4P's.

The BOSE sound is muddy and crap, The Sennheiser CX 300's has Shure E3 qualtiy which is better than your Shure se110. CX 300's has the best sound within the $100 price range and is still able to compete with $300+ earphones.
Lol, I cant believe you put the BOSE earphones in here those things sound horrible with it's muddy, exaggerated bass. The CX 300's produce clear accurate bass while still producing crystal clear mids and highs. The BOSE on the other hand once the bass kicks in you cant hear the rest of the music. All I spent was $25 for my Sennhiesers CX300 and I hear no difference between the CX 300's and the Shure E3 $300

CX300's have too much bass, yes too much. You can't even hear the highs that well, shures have awesome highs and the Bose has awesome highs and bass. You can still hear the highs with the bass in the Bose... And I think you may have tried the earlier versions, since they upgraded them to be better... and whats with "BOSE" It's just "Bose" Have you ever tried the bose for something else, watching movies perhaps? The sound is literally the sound of a cinema. I watched Ironman on blu-ray with my headphones and the detail is amazing. You can hear all the bass and all the highs, and it's a pleasure to use them. Sure the CX300 are cheaper than them, but they just aren't that good for me. Also, the Bose's are just so much more comfortable :)
One thing we can agree on, is that the Apple In Ear headphones with mic might suck

Bose are the highest level of professional that you can find. And I am talking about ALL Bose products. Their surround sound systems are too freaking amazing. It sounds like you are in the movie. You X6968505-4674=48-8+8=77 earbuds can sound good, but Bose will always be better. And then zunes. Because i am awesome

Sennheiser CX300's has an overall higher rating around the web than the BOSE Tri-ports, but it really all comes down to personal preference. The new Apple in-ear earphones might be good since they are going to be dual drivers. One tweeter and a woofer in each ear to tackle the lows and the highs. It depends on the quality of drivers they put in the earphones. We'll see, but for now my Sennheiser CX300's make me feel like I'm in musical heaven after a good burn in though.

Have you even heard the BOSE's in ears? No. They aren't has great as you think they are. BOSE does makes good surround sound speakers though. The Sennheisers CX300's after a good burn in sounds just as good as those $300+ earphones.

The Zune headphones in the original post look like a good value though. They probably sound decent, and they can be had for pretty cheap.

My brother had a pair of Creative in-ears. They were (relatively) inexpensive and sounded amazing.

Probably because they're good quality for their price. Many people like them because of their price. As you said, the quality of these drivers might suck. And I think they ran out of ideas to put on the website. "Steel mesh cap" Well, don't the majority of all in ear headphones have them? (Apart from the Shures, they're designed differently.) But for me, Bose= Heaven for me.

When watching movies, it literally is surround sound with the headphones :p
When I was watching Ironman Blu-Ray with the headphones, it was just incredible. The fight scenes had so much detail and sounded really nice, like being in a cinema.

You can get them for $350 if you look around. Those Shure SE530 earphones are among the best sounding earphones you can possibly get. They have 3 drivers in each ear 1 driver for Lows, Mids, and Highs meaning the seperation of the frequencies in your music will be superior compared to a single or dual driver pair of earphones. Any earphones including your BOSE in ear's don't even deserve. To be in the same sentence as the Shure SE530's.

if i am comparing with the same price range..brand name like AT or grado would do a much better job than Bose would.
