hey all,

i was wondering what all you guys were using for cases for your touches until they get some shipped out? except for the ipod video, psp, or zune cases. something easy to find at most stores would be nice

i just customized a camera case and that black piece of plastic that came under the ipod in the box so it partitions the case into 2 sections, one for the ipod, one for 2 sets of headphones and a headphone splitter, that and now the ipod sits nice and safe seeing the piece of plastic was made to hold the ipod. it actually works pretty damn good. (these pictures are old btw, i customized it a little beter and cut off the edge of the black plastic piece so it slides in and out easier. and cut out a little notch so i can grab hold of the ipod to pull it out)

i ordered a cheap 5 dollar case on ebay untii the good ones from iGriffin n' stuff will come out.

I'm just using the fleece case pouch that came with my sony noise canceling headphones.

My wife sewed the top of a sock for me to use till the Griffin case comes out.

i got that GuardFilm thing, but im still using my camera case. it works great and i dont have to have it in my pocket that way.

I basically put Scotch tape all over the backside to protect it from scratches. The front is well protected already with the glass.

I'm using the black cloth and rapping my headphones around it to slide it in my pocket + I cut the bottom of the screen protector it came with above the home button

I got myself a Roots leather PDA magnetic belt case.
The iPot fit perfectly in it, and while putting it upside down in it, the sound jack as enough space at the top and I can access the top button at the bottom.

i left the button so u could tell it was a touch i could of stuck anything black in there and called it the ipod touch i demand a vote for the acceptability of these pictures

My girlfriend sewed me a case: The inside is lined with microfiber cloth (works really great and will absolutely not scratch) and coated it with that burberry design. It looks pretty fresh, ill try and get some pics up if you want.

If you put it in a normal pocket, it still actually scratches! Small, but noticable. You could also keep it in a ziplock bag.

you mean the screen scratches, or the back? i put it in jeans pockets unprotected all the time and have no scratches on the screen

Never scratches on screen, I am referring to the back.
