Disk utility on my mac says that i have 4 partitions.

I only want one, and when i try to delete one of the partitions it takes forever to prepare...

also, boot camp says i need a single formated mac os extended partition.

I"M SO CONFUSED!!!

can anyone help me delete the partitions.. or something???
