I received an email notice from Apple that my headset was shipped via DHL from Hong Kong on 12/8/08 at 11am. :)

Headphones with remote and mic arrived on Sat.

Very natural sound and the remote works great with my iPod Touch 2g.

I made a telephone call using Truphone and the mic also works well.

hey i kinda want a pair for christmas, but im not so sure. ive heard the sound is great, but im worried about the material of the cord. the one that came with the 1g's were a plastic material, and the 2g's were more of a soft rubber. the soft rubber ones are way less prone to being tangled, and they break less easily. can you tell me which type this is?

Apparently, the headphones have are absolutely crap for dual drivers. You would think they would be of good quality, but from reviews, it lacks bass+midrange. The only good feature I would say is the remote+mic. If you want it, for sound quality wise, then I would suggest some better alternatives, such as the Shure Se110 for around the same price.

They volume controls don't work with the iPhone :(
