It has been said that 4 new products are to comeout this CES. I hope it will be an improvement on the current SE530's, and maybe a quad driver IEM.

It really does depend which kind of style you like. Both have it's pros and cons in headphones. The Sennheiser IE8's have a adjustable bass screw, so you can adjust it, whilst the treble isn't as great as the Shures. Shures have one of the sweetest midrange, very nice bass, but treble is rolled off. There are other makes such as Westone, which are very good. The Westone 3 are one of the first three way IEM's. It consists of 1 woofer, one mid-range and one tweeter, instead of the usual 2 woofer+1 tweeter combo. That produces very nice sound, but can sound unrealistic to some as midrange is over exaggerated and bass+treble is slightly recessed.
