Hi guys, a few people have asked for controls etc.

thought id make a thread for this:

Installation

* Open Installer.app on a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch. Use Google to find out how to jailbreak your specific version of the firmware on your device.
* Tap the "Sources" button in the bottom-right corner.
* Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner.
* Tap the "Add" button in the top-left corner.
* Enter http://urbanfanatics.com/scummvm.xml into the text area and tap "OK".
* Installer will refresh your sources. It may close. If so, reopen it.
* ScummVM is now available for install in the Games section.

Controls
Left click Single tap

Right click Hold one finger on screen where you want to click, single tap another

ESC Hold one finger on screen, double tap another

F5 (menu) Hold one finger on screen, swipe another down from top to bottom

F 0-9 keys Press the keyboard button directly under the appropriate number

Pause Keyboard spacebar

Toggle Click+Drag mode Hold one finger on screen, swipe another up from bottom to top.
In this mode, a mouse click is sent immediately when you touch the screen, drags to wherever you slide your finger, and releases where you lift your finger. Useful for Monkey Island 3: The Curse of Monkey Island and Full Throttle.

Suspend Press the tactile "home" button.

Quit Press and hold the tactile "home" button for 5-6 seconds.

Nice guide, will be quite helpful for some people. You could also add how to add games just in case.

For those that don't know:

1. navigate to Var/Root/Media.
2. In this directory create a new directory to place your games (i named mine ScummVM)
3. Place your games in the directory.
4. Open ScummVM and press 'Add Game'
5. Navigate to Var/Root/Media/(yourdirectory) and select the game, then press the 'Add Game' button. Repeat step 5 for any other games you wish to add.
6. Click 'Start' and you're good to go.

You can include this in your guide if you want.

No, don't do that. A list of the required files for each game can be found at
http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Datafiles

There is no point copying all of them, most of them aren't even required and would just waste space on your iPod.

How do you navigate to the folder. Add Game defaults into the Media_Sym folder and doesn't want to get out of it to go to the Media Folder where I have my Scummvm folder and games.

yeah, becasue thank whole 52K of extra files is really gonna eat away at your memory. i copied all files into there and my games wrk excellent.

There's 100MB+ of completely unnecessary data files on some Scumm games such as Broken Sword.

Kinda pointless to copy them when it takes ages over WiFi, and the developers maintain a list.

I hear you can watch movies with this program. But you have to convert to ScummVM format... which is kinda useless, unless this program plays AVI/WMV too.

can you play ALL games wich are supported by scummvm? like enemy unknown or doom ?

Sorry i just got ScummVM installed on my phone and MonkeyIsland..

But i don't see any keyboard interface or way to get a keyboard up...

When you say keybaord are you just quoting the controls direct from a ScummVM version that's meant to be used on a desktop?

Edit: ah, nm i see the keyboard controls on the wiki. but still don't know how to get the keyboard up...

cheater912,check his post,he has every game to every engine,all scummvm games can be downloaded from his acct...Once you have axs to it,download any of the scummvm games, and ssh those in your ipod...All of them work,i now have 14 games on my ipod +965 nes games+79gba+86 SNES GAMES...all provided by cheaters list...Im a noob,i aint no computer genius, and now my shit is fully loaded with enuff games to last me until 2018! its all gravy baby!!

In order to do this, you need to SSH into your iPod. Check out ipodtouchmaster's video on YouTube on how to do this.

Also, did Cheater912 take off his ROM list for good? That really stinks, that was my #1 ROM resource.

You have to use something called Cyder. Allows you to install Cydia apps through your computer.
