eMacs were the first "affordable" Apple computers to include a G4 processor in them. They were available for the first time as an education-exclusive computer, hence the eMac name: education Mac. They were based off the first-generation iMac computers, except with an all-white non-see-through external shell and a flat 17" CRT instead of a non-flat 15" one.

Damn, I can't believe I have such a good memory for tech stuff sometimes but I tend to forget the names of people I know. Heh.

By the way, next time, before you ask, Google and Wikipedia can be your best friends. You're lucky I'm nice.

Not a valid comment. Apple stopped selling the eMacs during summer 2006. ;)
