so far the 1g ipod touch has been jailbroken, and all the iphones have been unlocked... i dont think that the iphone dev team would rename yellowsn0w to a whole nother color for a better unlock of the iphone, dont you think they would just kept it yellowsnow?... I highly doubt they would change it for just a full unlock....

2. I think it is definately a lead on a 2G jailbreak because it is the only thing that is left to do, (other than linux, which they aren't interested in, although it could be a new compatibility with MAC 10.5.6 like MrCrawley stated.

I believe it is related to the 2g, I don't believe that the jailbreak is done or anything, I think it is simply a start of the project of jailbreaking it. Just my opinion though

Agreed, I'd hate for all of this hype to be a giant joke, I would rather it be perm iPhone unlock or something that a joke on us, that would be cruel. Hard not to get your hopes up when everybody thinks everything they do is somehow related to the 2g lol.

I think it's a 2g jailbreak. Why would they release yellowsn0w and go through all the beta truble just to have another perminent unlock around the corner so soon?

Yellowsn0w took six months, if they had a bootloader hack already in the works then it kind of makes yellowsn0w a little pointless.

Would be amazing if it is an unlock similar to the 1st gen iPhone! Who knows?could just be nothing.

Chronic has a long way to go, and the dev team stated blatantly that they weren't working on it before this New Year. Its months off, get over your high hopes and come back down to reality

Isn't that an so called MD5-checksum for somethin'!? I really suck at these kind of computer stuff, but... that's what i believe. How can we translate that into words? x)

thats only for cracked hash's, so if this one has only just been cracked then i'm guessing it wont be on there, plus the md5 used in the ipod(if it is) might be salted which would then make it even more harder to crack.
