It can be used on ANY firmware version by uploading a 2.1.1 iBSS via DFU Mode. This will not downgrade you, I don’t know where you get that idea but it is not true

there is no point in downgrading unless you hear from the official dev team on the release nots of the new exploit they release

Thanks for this. I was very confused on this. I was afraid of downgrading cause I love 2.2! Now I just downloaded 2.1.1 and I got 2.2 from my computer

Hahah I thought this was funny that people are already doing this..why so IMPATIENT!!? Take a deep breath and let it go. No one has seen the jailbreak yet so why take any action? I think I read about not needing to downgrade 5 mins after I noticed there was going to be a release. Others must see 1 post and prepare lololol.
