Question Thread.

In order to cut down in the amount of question threads, I've created this one for users who are curious about RedSn0w and need to ask a question.

Any question asked needs to pertain to the RedSn0w iPod touch 2G jailbreak.

Users don't know a lot about the development of RedSn0w. Therefor, please refer to the iPhone Dev-Team's blog (http://blog.iphone-dev.org) for development status and to also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.


Please do not make any other threads involving questions about RedSn0w.

There have been a lot of these threads started with the intention of reducing the spam threads, but none have been successful.

My question is... do I really have to take a seat?

i made a thread like this... lol.... SPAM REDUCING BROTHERS... UNITE!! lol... maybe now there are 2 threads there will be 3 less new threads on when the jailbreak wilol be released....

Okay so I've been researching Winterboard and I'm a bit confuse in where I'm suppose to put the files at. I'm guess its either
~Themes = /var/.../theme (Forgot the path and I'll look it up latter.)

~Themes/[Here]
or ~Themes/[Name of Theme]/[Here]

After enough threads, wouldn't you start to consider these threads spam?

When the jailbreak comes, experiment with SSH. Explore the premade themes folders for an idea of how things work.

Can you download apps like you can from itunes, then sync them to your ipod I only want to know because I have no wifi access around me and I dont want to look for it to download apps from cydia

Why do we need this thread when we have a thread that answers frequently asked questions?

because most of the people here dont know their way around the forum and dont have common sense. LEARN TO SEARCH BEFORE POSTING :)

Its not even the matter of searching. When they are in a forum about to click the new thread button, all they have to do is look at the sticky and click it. But no, they want their own answers instead of taking a minute to look for them.
