i dont get how to install this repository thing at all. i looked at the instructions and it shows clicking on an installer icon but i dont have that. how do i get it? am i missing something??

I can sense the panic in your voice. Depending on your firmware, you will have to jailbreak your touch in some way. I recommend using ipodtouchmaster's guide on youtube or one of the many on this website.

I used these videos too and the method worked out great

same here now im on 1.1.2

i am still on 1.1.1 i dont want to upgrade the thing because i stored all of app in it. so tell me if i upgrade the thing it will remove any thing on it???

The only real differences between 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 is that 1.1.2 gives you the ability to add events to the calendar... Apple also addressed the TIFF exploit that made jailbreaking so simple. No worries though, as the general hacking public seems much better at figuring out vulnerabilities than the company that manufactures the product.

ok so i don't NEED to do so because my cal is already fix at version 1.1.1 ... so when is 1.1.3 comming out? and are they really going to make new ipod in march?? (i hope is storage space not a new type... cuase i have my reciept ready with the box...)
