xGPS ist ein Navigationsprogramm für den iPod Touch und iPhone. Es kann die Karten online abrufen, aber auch lokal speichern. Die neuste Version wird auch eine Sprachausgabe haben.

Also ich lad das über Cydia und dann könnte ich mein Umfeld lokal auf dem iPod speichern und dann auch als Navi benutzen?

Nicht der Adapter hat 4GB, du sollst da nur angeben, wie viel Speicher DEIN iPod Touch/ iPhone hat.

Hab in der Software was unter ,,GPS/GPS wählen" gefunden.

Da stehen die Module:
xGPS Modul (Was auch immer das ist?!!)
iPhone 3G GPS (Gibts bestimmt nicht fürn touch^^)
iGPSD (http://store.igpsd.com/) (gibts wohl ne Hauseingene Software über App-Store)
iGPS360 (https://www.orangegadgets.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=1_2&products_id=1&osCsid=4e29db8a3784ed37ed3e47f555c61c56) (Überlege DAS zu kaufen...weil der Rest verwirrt mich)

EDIT: Frage 1,2,4 hab ich Orange Gatgets gefragt. 1,5,6,7 werd ich dem xGPS Software Hersteller frage, wenn er endlich nen Impressum auf der Site (www.xgps.xwaves.net) hat!

Antwort auf Frage:
1.Yes, the module works on an iPod Touch 2G (jailbroken), please see here (http://iphone-gps.blogspot.com/2009/02/gps-module-working-with-ipod-touch-2g.html).

2. The software you need is xGPS from Xwaves (the xGPS Util program only works with Xwaves xGPS module, not the iGPS360 so there is no need to install that; you can get your location data from the xGPS program). xGPS can be installed through Cydia. For downloading maps you can use the xGPS Manager from Xwaves. For the latest developments see here (http://xgps.xwaves.net/) and here (http://xgpsdev.xwaves.net/).

4. We just use this information to see how many modules we sell for each type of device. There is only one type of module and it will work on all devices (iPhone 2G/3G, iPod Touch 1G/2G)

- Yes, we ship to Germany.
- Yes, as long as Google has maptiles for your area, you are good to go (we have shipped many modules to Germany already). Note that voice directions are currently only in English. Xwaves will add additional language support in future releases of their software.
