Everybody is talking about that you cant restore and stuff, but i dont see anyone saying that about the 1st gen, my question is: is it "safe" for me to install it, it wont get locked or any stuff, and can i restore back to 2.2.1?

If you have a legit version, and have paid for the developers plan, then it won't get locked.
