If you log into your jailbroken iPod Touch or iPhone via SSH using a program such as WinSCP, go to the top of the iPhone directory, and go into "/System/Library", you will find a folder called "Internet Plug-Ins". We know Apple fixed the TIFF image bug. When you go to www.jailbreakme.com and click Install AppSnapp, if you zoom in and look at the top left corner, you'll see a question mark. Maybe somebody can make a plugin to allow the hack. It wouldn't be useless because if you go here, there are instructions on how to view and transfer files to and from an iPhone and iPod Touch via USB. I'm pretty sure this works on non-jailbroken devices. Wouldn't it be so much easier to a drag a few files in and run www.jailbreakme.com's jailbreak rather than have to run the whole 1.1.2 jailbreak process which takes about a half-hour or this which takes about 5 minutes. App creators would be able to give you download links for apps, fixes, or tweaks that directly modify files just like the AppSnapp installer. Last, we can make more plugins to allow us to view more in our iPod Touch's or iPhone's Safari web browser. I hope this helps people create plugins for the iPod Touch and iPhone.

sorry, it doesnt work like that.

You need a plugin written specifically for the touch. It doesnt exist yet.

yeah man, its as easy as thinking up the whole ipod concept. You could probably do it man, give it a try :)

This is a lot more complex than you guys think. This topic has been discussed a couple times. The plug-in would have to be specifically written for the touch.

chef - If you haven't already lacate your download - it may be in /private/var/root/download. It is hidden - use finder to lacate and delete it -

lol nub ^^ you cant just dl a pc/mac version and stick it on there. you have to config it and probably do alot of coding,,
