Does anyone really know if the new iPhone has 256mb of RAM, as a step-up from the existing 128mb?

Where would they get information about the Device? The device was revealed, but nothing about it's innards were.

Iphone 3GS has 256 Mb ram and 600Mhz cpu. Thatīs confirmed.

How did he "get owned"? I'm pretty sure he posted before the info was leaked. Unless someone was hanging around T-mobile's Netherlands site all day, he/she wouldn't have heard about it until the major blogs picked up on it.

Wow! 256MB RAM is amazing. That more than triples the RAM which is available for apps and games compared to the older 128MB RAM models.
Good to hear. It's added incentive to upgrade to a similar Touch that may or may not come out in September. This thing's always running out of RAM, even the App Store apps on a clean device.
