I am buying an iPhone 3GS next week and im going to buy a case soon, are the current 3G cases FULLY compatable with the new 3GS??

are they edsactly the same thickness, width etc

thanks, i sort of new they were edsactly the same design... im just double checking there is no like tiny adjustment to the say.... headphone jack or something

The are exactly the same aesthetically. All 3G cases should work with the 3GS

They have the same exterior specs, except that the 3G[s] is 1 ounce heavier :eek:

EXternally there pretty much the same, the only difference i can think of is the camera opening. Apple might have made it bigger because of the better camera and to let more light in, etc. I like the Incase slider cases. There thin and the black matte one feels really nice. I heard the matte finish peels off sometimes though. Its expensive too, at about $35. Its a nice case though.

I've had the matte black Incase Slider. It was one of the best cases I've owned. However, I let my friends sign the back of it for the last day of school with a silver sharpie, and it smeared. I have a Contour Showcase that I bought two days ago, and it looks great. It's one of the highest rated cases on Apple.com. I'm using my 3G in it right now, but I will put my 3GS in it when I get it.
