First off, my volume for the iPod is all the way up, and I can still hardly hear the call.

Second, when I close and reopen the app, it takes that 3 minutes to connect again.

Anyone notice these things?

You're prolly using a bad provider or just bad connectivity... Try a different provider and see if it gets better. I tried on freecall.com one earlier today and it was pretty loud even when my volume was all the way down. Though, granted I was in a quiet area and no one was around making any noise other than my heart beating from over excitement...

I have tried freecall.com and voipcheap.com, but they are the same thing. What firmware are you running?
