Check you password and username, they are case sensitive. The iPot automatically capitalizes the first letter of your password. This was my problem for a while until i figured out what was going on.

Anyway, back to the point. I just sent my e-mail address for pre-ordering the mic. How much money would it cost me to receive and will it come with instructions? How does this mic actually work?

Good work everyone who helped make this possible.

EDIT: Also, if I suddenly choose not to get the mic, do I just ignore the "final billing information" e-mail?

plug in your white earphones into your ipod to hear the phone your calling. you need a mic to speak in your iPod touch so the person ur calling would be able to hear you and you two can start a conversation. Go here to pre-order a mic: http://touchmods.wordpress.com/

hi, we're trying to use siphon version 1.13 on iphone version 1.1.4, and everything seems installed right and working, but we can't hear the conversation out of the iphone. I know from looking around that some people have had volume issues, but it feels like it's not just volume.. feels like nothing is there to be heard. If you have any tips or advice or sites we could look at it'd be much appreciated...
Thanks :)

I added touchmods.com/rep.xml and it doesn't show up in categories? Is it down? or is the url supposed to be .../repo.xml?

EDIT: Sorry, I got it. It's .net not .com.

Thanks for the tut!

I followed the guide and read all the posts :) and got it working fine in canada.

Using voipbuster, calls in canada and other popular areas are free. the website says calls will end after 1 min unless you buy credits, but that is for "unpopular" areas.

I've ordered a mic from touchmod, cant wait to receive it!

Still need to get an incoming number tho ... any tips on good/free sources would be appreciated!

maybe someone shut add informations about problems about using sip-voip behind routers that aren't sip aware?
mainstream-routers that are "sip aware"
Linksys WRT54G/GS with Firmware "SIPatH / Milkfish" or DD-WRT VoIP-Version >= v.23
Intertex IX66 / IX67 / IX68,
Siemens (Efficient Networks) Business Routers (5851, 5950) with Firmware 6.1.x

The original guide is outdated. What you need is Siphon( in cydia), voip provider( i use voip Voipcheap). Once you got siphon installed you'll use the voip provider info to put in. All is free except there is a time limit to talk unless you pay $10. You can talk all you want and the amount stay there forever if you call only in the free destination listed. This works with the latest firmware.

how do you pay the 10$? do you buy credit? how do you know if it will stay there for ever?

I have a mic that is really tiny and plugs into the headphone port. Fring thinks it should output to it too, though it has only an input, and no output.
Is this program able to input through headphone IN, and output through speaker?

--EDIT: Never mind, just reread and found out this is old camel dung.
Someone know a SIP-VOIP program that does the above? Then please PM me. I won't read this thread anymore because it is useless to me now.

Oh, and sorry for the bump.

Hiii...

I have 2 Ses in mode Combo Active / StandBy

I know the combo mode Ses 30K BHCC hold up, but do not know how many calls per second is capable of supporting.

Currently I have 70000 sip trunk. So how many calls can withstand per second?

Thanks for all.
