ipod touch 2g has a re-arangable icon menu,zune has a word menu

ipod touch 2g has spotlight search, zune will never have enough apps for one

ipod touch 2g just got 3.0 firm that means the ipod touch 3g is coming

ipod touch 2g has mail, zune has real radio

ipod touch 2g is owned by apple, zune is owned by microsoft

the four things that would make the ipod touch 2g unbeatable are:

Camera and microphone

themes

faster processor and graphic card/and screen

and if apple buys alienware off dell, so alienware can make ps2 grade games, plus alien ware would make gamepad accesories, and the ipod would look awsome with an alienhead as a home button that lights up or an alienhead on the back that lights up

ya but the funny thing is its not worth telling the OS on the zune cant use the oled to it potential ive seen one at best buy, some dude was displaying it, the ipod touch 2g still look better, but the zune does look better connected to a hd tv i dont even need to see to tell that

oh ya, the zune was built from jailbroken iphone firm downgraded, cause windows bought quickpwn. the funny thing is right when its announced the new firm was realeased,and the firm is an annocement itsenf its for the itouch 3g

I'm getting really sick of ibOOns and the structure of the iPoo. If Zune HD can make it OPEN I might be willing to switch.

i agree, op sounds like an apple fan boy,
i predict that the Zune hd will be great,because, i've had an ipod nano, and a zune, and i liked the zune better out of the two. Also, op said that there will never be enough apps for a spotlight type thing, i disagree, have you seen how many games there are for the zunes, made by regular people, for free? I imagine that if microsoft opens something like the app store, for the zune hd, we would have alot of apps made.

I really think this thread is not useful at the moment. First of all I believe they are marketed for two different things. Also, we havent even really seen the Zune HD in action. We cannot make any opinions yet WHAT so ever. Hardware means nothing without software, and we barely saw both!

No, this thread wasn't helpful at all. I know nothing at all about the Zune HD and I could probably make a better comparison. Definitely biased.

First off, let's look back to happier days, how many apps did the iPod Touch originally have? The default ones, that's it. But we are talking about 2Gs.

Secondly, I know the current Zune layout (once again I've never seen the Zune HD or know anything about it), but you can make an iPod Touch look like a Zune. Can you make a Zune look like an iPod Touch?

Thirdly, your comparison is between the 2G and the Zune HD, yet one of your points is a third gen is on the way.

And because I didn't use lastly...
Lastly, the four things you listed that would make the 2G unbeatable would also make any other device unbeatable.
