many disagree but all i would want on the 3rd gen is a camera and maybe gps like the iphone3gs

I think they should have a camera, but I don't think I would get one. I'm alriht with my second gen for now.

Apple will continually "cover" jailbreaking holes, however, they will not cover them all, it'll just be harder and harder to find each time, and people will get better and better at doing it.

Someone is not going to buy an iphone for a 3.2 MP camera, they will buy it for the phone part. If you show me one person that would go out, and buy an iphone with or without a contract just because they wanted the camera, then I'll concede it, otherwise, I'm gonna have to say that's a bad reason.

See though, what have the iPhone commerceals been about? I think 2 have emphasized the camera and video recording. So, obviously, Apple is pushing the camera on this iPhone, so we may see it on the touch, minus video recording, or something that will cause an uproar just like 2 years ago, when Apple released the original ipod touch without any of the apps the iPhone came with (notes, weather, stocks, that stuff) and in before Christmas they'll add it. Maybe, though. They may just come out and be like, hey everyone, iPod touch gets speed and camera, yay!

Yeah their pushing the video capabilites of the iPhone 3Gs, not because it's special, because it's new to the iPhone, and that's one reason people wouldn't buy it, because it has it doesn't mean everyone who wanted it is going to go out and buy the 3Gs though, why, because its expensive and you have to pay a constant fee every month.

If it has a camera, I'm selling and getting for sure. I'll upgrade to 16 gb too.
