Definitely NOT:

That's what I'm assuming they will do. I would like a better internal speaker, though. They also might change the screen to the one on the 3GS, so you don't get as many fingerprints all over the screen.

They will change the screen; Apple just invested in that technology with the 3GS, they'll seal the deal with the 3rd gen iPod touch.

They can't make it any thinner, and shouldn't. In my opinion it should be maybe a tad thicker, because everybody likes a bigger battery that lasts linger. o_O

The iPod Touch should be the same as the iPhone without the phone bit.
If it gets vibration, which it should because all rival portable game consoles do then it still wouldnt have the phone part or gps

personally, I think the whole adding buttons to the side spoils the point of having the touch screen. The original concept of the iPod touch was that it only had two buttons, the rest was controlled from the screen.. i guess its a compromise between functionality and looks..

They should make an iPt like the classic. Put in a normal hdd ( samsung just released a 250 gb one. 1.8 incher.) with a bigger battery and the iphone 3gs guts. that'd be sweet.

Apple will never put buttons besides the home, on/off, and volume, if you want the ability to use remote ability they want you to get the headphones.

Im nearly 100% certain that they will come with 24kpwn fixed and with the same ecid security system as the 3G[S] leaving it very hard to jailbreak..

I think that Apple really goes after the jailbreakers with the touch each year. I think that we can expect to see it very hard to jailbreak, and I hope that the Dev Team is as ready as ever. But, I think that the new features will be worth the prolonged jailbreak wait.

We can all dream can't we......I hope it has a lot of that stuff though.

Choice of colour seems like a bad idea. Although I will not be buying one, I find the metallic back to be quite nice to look at.

Only issue with that is scratches, they should use bettermetals and bump price up a little.. £20-£50 extra or something aint to bad.

A better quality metal wouldn't cost that much. But still, I see Apple continuint to use the metal scratch prone back.
