I want to upgrade to Snow Leopard, but I'm worried that all of my data will get erased. I've basically just finished getting all of my stuff onto my MacBook, and don't want to have to start all over again!
Also, does Snow Leopard come with iLife? If not, will the applications disk that came with my MacBook still work to install the iLife applications?
If I do need to start over, can I use Time Machine to be right back where I am now, but on 10.6?

Not too sure.
But you should just be able to get your files from Time Machine.
Just drag everything where it was previously.

You should be alright. Just make a backup first just incase with TM. As for iLife you shouldnt have to reinstal anything.
I bought my MB a few months ago and it came with an iLife install disk along with a seperate leopard instal disk. Thats not normal I'm guessing?

It's about a 45 mins process and it leaves everything as it was. You will need a new version of Cyberduck if you use that for SSH.

Perfectly clean upgrade. All data intact.
