More or less what I wanted to say. Why would you care what other people think of the Zii anyways? It's their opinion they can think of it however they want.

We all know the Zii Egg is not a consumer model.

That doesn't mean peoples' reasons for disliking it are any less valid.

Granted the device looks good, but let's see how it benchmarks against the ipod touch 3G... Honestly for a product to be successful, there are more than a few aspects involved, it is not only the hardware and software that counts.

not really the software, sinces it's Crap. andriod is a ho lot better then Plasma but it doesn't support Muti touch so.... i'm Sorry i'm out (Dragons den LOL)

by the Way i bought a Zii and it feels crap and plasticy. i just dropped it down the stair and it fell apart "acidently". Just joking. i have preorded the Beta, and i am taking corses in Coding. then again, i can't spell corses let alone type 100% perfect spelling on a code sheet.

Actually Android does support it, albeit some flashing of the phone's firmware. But it still isn't to par w/ the iPhone/Touch multitouch.

EDIT: Plus Android is sooo much better too.

IMO Android doesn't look so nice... unless HTC modify it first :)

I wish just once, an open source device could get it's act together and become big. An Android powered PMP should get together with the guys at DoubleTwist and compete against Microsoft & Apple. They can really do something together. Start off with offering Creative Commons music and video content that they can also sell or offer ways to donate to artists. And of course, podcast feeds. And so on.
