According to EA, a NFS Shift (racing simulator, not arcade racer like NFS Undercover) for iPhone is in the making. They are making 2 versions of Madden 10. One 9.99 buck version for all iDevices and a 19.99 advanced OpenGL 2.0 epic beast graphics version for 3GS and ipod touch 3G. Hopefully they do the same for NFS Shift. Is it possible that someone may be making a Gran Turismo iPhone version in response to Shift.

I didnt think that the iphone had a better graphics card (per say) then the other iModels.

The 3GS has a 33% faster processor than the iPod touch 2nd gen, and twice the RAM as all the other iDevices. So, yeah, it may not have a graphics card, but it is better.

And no, nobody can make a Gran Turismo iPhone game unless the developer/publisher was Sony. Because they own the rights to the franchise.

iPhone 3GS has better cpu/higher clock speed, twice the ram and much better graphics card that Supports OpenGL ES 2.0 which is much better than the OpenGL 1.1(ithink) for the other iPod/iPhone. iPod touch 2G has a slightly better cpu clocked at... hell, I'll just give you the chart.

it's not possible to release Gran Turismo on an Apple device, since it's made exclusively for Sony consoles. I want NFS shift for my future 3G S..

I hope NFS:Shift is as good as Undercover, that was the real deal.

ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS? Every iDevice before the iPhone 3G S had a PowerVR MBX Lite GPU. The 3GS has a PowerVR SGX 535 GPU, which is proven to be better than the PSP's GPU. The 3GS supports OpenGL ES 2.0, but the others have OpenGL 1.1.

I hope NFS:Shift is as good as Undercover, that was the real deal.

Shift needs head to head multiplayer, period. Also, swiping down should cut off the boost once you've activated it.
