Does iTunes 9 require 3.1 to work? Because if it doesn't I'd be happy to test it with my jailbreak.
EDIT: Screw it, I'm doing it anyways.
EDIT 2: Musclenerd has tweeted that it's OK to update iTunes, just not firmware yet!
EDIT 3: The infamous section 10 is present in iTunes 9, too!

It seems that iPhoneBrowser stops working with iTunes 9.... or at least it has for me.

i think you have to have the 3.1 firmware to do that. but i dont think its been JB yet

how come i dont see my homescreen in itunes? do i need 3.1 for that? i have 3.0 and im using itunes 9 just fine sept for i cant see my homescreen.

Oh yeah, you certainly need 3.1 to view the Home screen on iTunes! :)
And I downloaded iTunes 9 yesterday and very happy with it thus far... What a refreshing improvement from the previous version! :D

iTunes 9 runs a lot smoother, I really like it except for the pc's boxes of course lol.
