I can't seem to find that function... I see the new list to choose which apps to sync... But the right part of the screen is just plain white...

I love it, credz. It's much more beautiful now and it IS syncing faster, at least on Win7. Kudos to Apple, once again!

I love the new look. But the squares view is still really laggy for me.

The one thing I miss is the song countdown on the right of the scrub bar, now it just shows the total time, but that doesn't really matter that much, I LOVE ITUNES 9!!!

i like the new look. :) but i can't tell the difference with the speed because my laptop is pretty crap so it's been slow even with the old iTunes. lol

IMO the new store is great, but the iTunes UI is a little overboard, but syncing is just so much better now :)

iTunes 9 is top gun!

Reasons:
- Faster sync, compared with v7 and v8
- Drag-drop-delete apps direct from iTunes to the Home Screen, brilliant!
- Takes up FAR less memory space than v8
- Nice, gray-white color makes iTunes 9 look vibrant
- iTunes U is a great plus for students!
- Classy + stylish colors as well as great graphics!

Still it takes slow, painful hours to import stuff during which this POS software responds to clicks in 5-10 seconds delay. If you are on a mac - maybe it works. but the windows version is truly horrendous!

copied 200GB over to my new i7 machine on windows 7 from vista using 100Mbit LAN and it did it in about an hour, not had a single response issue on any of the three machines ive installed it on, seems to work flawlessly even on my dell lappy (T3400 3GB DDR2) running vista, if your having any issues what so ever I would loook at what other progs you got installed...only say that because tried and tested on 3 machines and its not skipped a beat...unlike itunes 8!

Trust me, I was so annoyed at having it pushed down my throat as the only software to service my iPod touch, that I tried it on 2 other machines (another Dell laptop and a desktop) with fresh installs of Vista and the problems persisted - not only for things on a LAN but also on local disk. The infuriating thing is that those problems are inconsistent - iTunes seems to either "work" well or just behave like a shithead, there is no middle ground. It works like a charm for some people, but for a lot of others it just doesn't.

I have read many such posts on Apple's forums but that place doesn't seem to promote free speech - when i dared to ask why my iTunes was so slow and unresponsive (accompanied with tons of details about system configuration and other software installed) my post was removed.

I would have agreed that the problem lies somewhere on my machines, LAN config and software, but then again when I run Songbird, foobar, winamp (and pretty much any other player in existence) everything runs smoothly, library imports are fast, UI responsive.

I would have stayed away from iTunes had it not been the ONLY software that can service my iPod. I really hate Apple for doing this and I would gladly pay for a working alternative.

I don't really like the new look. Its faster but still not as fast as foobar. I only have it to sync my iPod and iPhone.

It is definitely better than the previous versions, but for the app management it still needs work. For example it is nice to be able to multiple add and move apps at once now, but you can't multiple delete apps. HUH!? How can Apple forget delete...

its much faster on my hackintosh but i personally think the ui is kinda annoying and looks too bright. i especially dislike the 3 play and skip buttons in the top left

Tooooooo bright, and I hate the new interface, particulary the new stars. I loved the brushed steel from the first versions, and the simple buttons...
On the other hand I like the new iTunes Store and Genius Mixes, eventhough they're a little counter-intuitive (how do you know which song plays next?)

I have to say Thumbs DOWN for iFunBox not working anymore w/ iT9.

I like the new iTunes, but I hate that every time I install it, quicktime gets messed up and I have to do some sort of fix for it EVERY TIME. But other than that annoying problem I like the new iTunes. It does look more clean, and, there is the in-iTunes app management.
