itunes (9) wont sync movies that arent bought from the itunes store to my iphone (3g 3.1.1). the movies are encoded with handbrake, in my library, play fine in itunes, and as far as i can tell, meet the iphone expectations.
heres what comes up in the itunes "get info" page

any suggestions?

it should work. i purchased 2 movies from the iTunes Store, and they still sync correctly. Make sure you didn't move the movie into another folder or something.

no i mean the itunes vids sync properly but other ones dont, and the files in the right place cuz itunes would say "could not find file" instead it says "movie can not be played on iphone"

ok this is strange
vids (podcasts) that DEFINITELY synced to my iphone in 3.0.1 come up with a "cannot be played on iphone" message. they work fine on my friends 4g nano and 2 of my friends 2g touches (neither of which are 3.1.x
