I'm pretty sure most of the devs in the dev team that have an iPod bought the 3.0 firmware. He's not asking about the third generation iPod touch.

He was responding to Tman. In which case his response about the new ipod suffices.

In agreement with the others, these things take time. They are working with the firmwares for iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch, and iPod Touch 2G. And in the off-chance that one of them picked up a 3rd gen Touch, that, too.

And yes, they actually have to work on them all. There are coding differences for all of them (Well, not sure about 3G and 3GS). Us iPod Touch 2G users had to wait for a very long time before our initial jailbreak, so a little longer for the new firmware won't kill us.
