It says it wont install cydia but after reading the comments im not sure if its a good idea to jailbreak it with those steps just yet. I cant wait to get the 3.1 firmware but i think ill wait till the jailbreak is out. What do you guys think?

That method doesn't jailbreak it. Redsn0w crashes before it modifies anything.

it doesn't jailbreak it. It only applies the patch that makes it vulnarable. It crashes on "updating ramdisk" That's before it patches anything that modifies the OS. I mean it just reboots it without any results(of course..).
