hi, when i upgraded to 3.0 my ipod touch 1g wouldn't give the music coverflow; it would only give me the coverflow for the song i'm playing. So i tried to fix it a lot of times but nothing worked; so i thought if i upgrade to 3.1 it might fix it but still no fix. so can anybody tell me how to get that back and to let u know it did work when i was on 2.2.1

Thats rather odd, the 3.0 firmware has cover flow. Did you jailbreak your device? Oh and you aren't trying to make it go to cover flow when you are walking right? I know that doesn't work if you try to rotate it while you are moving.

If not the only thing I can think of is doing a full restore and see if the problem is solved

never mind i went back to 2.2.1 and now the coverflow works like it did before so i think it was something on 3.0 that made it stop working

Try playing a game like Dirt Moto or Fastlane, and see if you can steer.

If you can, thats weird.
Do a DFU+Restore, although I hate reccomending that to people because its a n00b answer, and makes me seem stupid.

i do get the coverflow of the song i'm playing but non of the other albums show up

I have a similar problem, when I upgraded to 3.1.1 I have only a few album art on the scroll menu under "albums", but if i go cover flow they are all there and same as you the art is there when the music is playing. I have 277 complete albums and only 17 show art, is coverflow all art is there.
