I haven't even updated to iTunes 9 yet. I am still on iTunes 8.2.1 and I'm on a Vista. I looked on C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates to see if it was there but nothing could be found. I also tried looking in C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates but nothing. In the second location, I actually found a Software Updates folder unlike the first location, but nothing was there. When I jailbroke 3.0 I easily found the firmware but now nothing is there. Any help?

Check the recycle bin apple has done something to where it will sometimes end up in there.

thank you, almost emptied my bin and lost the firmware files.

I checked the Recycle Bin but still nothing. I guess I maybe emptied the recycle bin with the firmwares in it. How unfortunate.

see if u can get a recover program, it has a way to get files back even when u empty recycling
