well, I read that jobs has commented on it in some article. I don't think apple ever says that there is going to be one of anything. The fact there was going to be a camera in the new touch was "confirmed" but it did not come out.

You assume this because it's Apple, correct? Well, you could be wrong. Microsoft rarely makes their own hardware; it's hard to determine whether it'll cost more or not..
