This is an interesting article. Obviously by an apple fanboy, but the technical information is correct, and well researched.

This is not meant to be a trolling post. I'm interested in the Zune myself, but also hearing the pros and cons.

Most of what it says might be too technical for the younger people on this forum though.

Microsoft never said that the Zune HD displayed HDTV quality. They said it outputed HD. They didnt lie, and its coming with a custom mobile IE its not actually IE 6. IE 6 was meant for computers this is a new mobile IE.

It's a browser based on Mobile IE 6 which was first shown at CES 2009. It's completely seperate to the desktop versions of IE :)

I know that but I was still surprised about the OLED screen only being good in the dark and the Tegra processor being a little outdated, I know its there intent to bash a lot of non-Apple companies but I was still a little surprised.

As far as that is concerned, firmware updates with fix the hardware's ability to work better with the software, ie faster browser and app start up times. People talk about OLED being a negative against the Zune, hasn't seemed to stop people from talking about the inclusion of OLED screens in future iPod products.

It will be revolutionary when the ipod gets an OLED screen.

Thats my thing though, people say OLED is horrible in sunlight and that it isnt a good thing. if it isnt a good thing why would people want OLED screens in future apple products? I dont see why.
