The Chronic Dev Team has made official on his blog, all the work and progress being achieved in the release and Jailbreak iPod Touch 3G.

As we have said in other articles, the tool will be called for the release GreenPois0n and the exploit works perfectly.

The final program will not require even the DFU. This is done by the recovery mode and you can just enter that connect the iPhone to the cable and launch the application. Following this, the iBoot patched on-the-fly and then be loaded and also patched the kernel that will be used to run the Jailbreak in seconds.

Yes, it's supposed to be able to jailbreak 3.1 or 3.1.1 on ALL iDevices.

Cool. Now can someone find that baseband bootrom exploit so we can have the same kind of control over the iphone 3G/3GS baseband as we do the 1st iphone. You know, downgrading basebands and removing bootloader restrictions.... all that fun stuff.

Now that all the idevices are pwnd for life, it would be cool if all the iphones were unlockable for life.
