if you buy the one for $169 you get snow leopard, ilife '09 and iwork '09. if you get the one for $29 you only get snow leopard. i wouldn't get ilife right now though. a new one ill be out in about 4-5 months.

But to OP, I have heard from my hopelessly Maccy friend that yes, it does come with iLife. They mention iMovie and stuff in ads. Besides, without iLife, there's even less to do on a Mac OOTB :P

No, I'm just saying Apple takes it's time to implement things. The 3rd gen doesn't effect me, I'm keeping my 1G, but a camera in an iPT seemed like the next logical evolution of the platform.
