Hello all
I have an iPod touch and I love it dearly. Unfortunately I need to send it away to be repaired or replaced as the headphone jack is broken and I only get audio from one side.
The thing is, I have a new computer and have lost alot of my old music and alot of my music on my Ipod is from that computer or from other peoples. I'm wondering is there anyway I can save all this music somewhere on my computer so when I get my new Ipod I can put straight back on as it was. We're looking at about 28gb's of music.
Your help would be much appreciated.
Mike

Yes, there is a way!
You can rip the songs off your iPod onto your new computer, and transfer them into iTunes.
Just do a quick google search for 'iPod ripper,' you should get a few results.
Some programs are only free for a certain amount of songs, if you want to rip more than that you have to pay. (most programs are about $19.95)
Although, there are some freeware programs.
Hope it helped.

Hey again
Downloaded sharepod and it looks to be cool but the albums I downloaded off iTunes on the actual iPod touch don't seem to be there at all. I wanna make sure I back them up. Anybody care to share some more light on my plight? Please?
Help again is much appreciated.

I'm probably late on this. But doesn't iTunes backup your iPod/iPhone?

Ahh, true true.
Well, if you want to backup your Audio, and Video Files wouldn't you just buy an External Harddrive.
Helped my a lot of damn times.

I can't get sharepod to work, any suggestions, it says it can't find the ipod, even when it's plugged in and showing up in iTunes.
