Hey.

I finally got my iPhone 3GS, and I love the naked look of the iPhone, I really don't like any bulkiness to the phone.

I hate scratches; and I have myself very clumsy, I broke my friend's iPhone screen by dropping it, costing almost $300 to get it fixed.

I put on a front+back Bodyguardz film on my iPhone, along with a screen protector on top of the screen. I'm thinking of adding an extra screen protector on top of all of that.

Do you think my screen will crack if I dropped it, now that I have added a lot of screen protectors?

I really don't like adding cases and bulkiness to my phone. I love it the way it was packaged.

Thanks.

Screen protectors don't do ANYTHING to save it when you drop it.

You need one of those silicon cases (Yeah its ugly but...)

Mine is the only reason i still have an iPod 0_o

yeah screen protectors do nothing if you drop it. Not all cases are that bad, when I get my iPhone i'm gonna buy cases for it, just to be safe

Along with the screen protector, get a leather holster to put it in when you're not using it. My Blackberry still looks brand new because I have the screen protector, silicone case, and leather holster on it. When it comes time to get a new phone, I'll be able to sell this one as being in "like new" condition.

tomlaw, the invisible shield and products like it protect against scratches, not shock.

@OP: No, it won't protect against cracks. Get some kind of case that will cover the screen. Preferably leather, since it absorbs shock the best.
