Does anyone else get this error when they try to sync their iPod to a PC?

Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 9 I have gotten this message when I try to sync my iPod 80GB Classic. I'm am up to date with version 9.1 but it still happens and I don't want to downgrade to iTunes 8 as my touch should be in soon. Any suggestions?

Did you experience the same problem with iTunes 8? I had iTunes 9 and it gave me a $h*tload of problems with my iPod touch so I had to downgrade.
