Hi. I have an iPod Touch 3G (32GB) and I am wondering what greenpois0n is currently working on.

Are they working on a jailbreak for 3.1.1 for the iPod Touch 1G and 2G?
Are they working on a jailbreak for 3.1.1 for the iPod Touch 3G?
Are they working on both??
Will the JB for the 3G and 2G be released at the same time? Or will the JB for 3G take ALOT longer?

I really want to jailbreak my iPod Touch 3G and if they aren't even working on a JB for the 3G models, I might have to return it and get a refurb 2G...

Reading about last year and how it took them 6 months to make a jailbreak for the iPod Touch 2G makes me cry irl. I really hope it takes much less time then that. WILL IT?

GreenPois0n is the name of the tool, ChronicDev Team is working on it, and GreenPois0n will jailbreak all iDevices with 3.1.X including the 3rd Generation iPod Touch. Secondly, the 2nd Gen touch can only be jailbroken to 3.0, the only jailbreak for 3.1 is pwnagetool which jailbreaks the iPhone 2g, and 3g and the 1st generation iPod Touch. I'd say just be patient and wait for a jailbreak for 3.1. The 3rd Gen touch is a lot faster and capable than the 2nd Gen

Exactly what I mentioned in my post...I probably should've made it bold or put it at the bottom so you guys saw it, but yeah that's exactly what GreenPois0n will do.

Yes. There will be a 3.1.1 jailbreak for the iPod touch 1G.

If you want to jailbreak right now, then just downgrade to 3.0 and use redsn0w 0.8
