Heres my first attempt at a Theme.


I took out the whole bottom dock/icons
and inserted my sig at the bottom left.

I also used the aol IM emoticons for my wifi meter. [ :D :) :/ :( ]

This is my first attempt at trying to make my own theme. It is clean and simple. Biggest problem is there are not exact Kanji symbols for regular words so you might have to keep labels on for awhile, and I am still not happy with the clock. but it is my first theme and I am still learning photoshop....plus with 3 kids don't have alot of time :rolleyes: Only icons are what you see right now. I am working on more for my second page. Thanks for looking.
**edited 11/10/07** Made a few changes and added a few more icons. Darkened the background, chnaged the StatusBar to match the bg and made a new calendar icon. I also changed my carrier icon but that is not part of the Kanji theme :-)

-I didnt make the wallpaper or the status bar, but I thought they were really cool.
-I did not and will not make icons for the iApp A day apps, because those icons are cool and original. (I grouped them together on my n45ap.plist and it looks cool with this theme).
-I will update this everytime I get a new non-iApp-A-Day application.
-All the apps in this theme are on my iPod.

This is my Japanese Theme. Credit goes to several different icon makers as it was difficult to find just the right icons. Still working on some more icons.
There are also a couple different versions of a couple different icons so you will need to pick the one you like and rename it to the original. You will see the ones that are extra have "_1" You will just need to delete that part when renaming.

Hope you like it. I will update it when I have some more done with it.

Sorry folks, I uploaded my themes in the wrong thread. I put them here again but still don't know how to post pictures of them. The black and white one is a theme that took me about 8hrs to create. It has a bunch of custom icons and new icons that have not appeared on any themes up until this point. Personally it is my favorite and is definitely worth the download. The Vista theme one is the third or fourth version. I have manipulated vista icons and changed the sizes to give this theme a sleak look that is very much like a desktop on a PC. As for the last theme (the blue one), it is the second version that was created. I borrow alot of icons from a variety of different themes and provided a novel wallpaper. It's still worth the download. If someone more computer savy than myself could post pictures of the themes once they've downloaded it, it would be greatly appreciated. Don't worry, my inability to post the pictures is definitely not reflected in the quality of the themes. I will stop short of bragging but they are all of very high quality. I would like to say thank-you for those of you that may have posted customized icons of your own that went into making my themes. Enjoy.

I wasn't able to find a theme that I like that had matching icons for all my apps...so, using my super amazing Photoshop skills </sarcasm>, i created this - yet another CS3 rip-off (sort of)...lol. I know quite a few people HATE the CS3 icons, but I'm a little OCD, so i happen to really like them. Plus, it's easy to make new icons for new apps when needed. If anyone does want to use this and needs icons for any apps not included, just post or message me, and i'll do what i can.

Notes:
It looks really stupid with dock reflection, so I recommend "iPod Dock Reflection Remove" in Installer.
Also, I originally used Elemental by Bezerker (thanks for the inspiration :)) before I created my own, and I have kept his Calendar icon...I hope that is ok.

The theme looks best with all the app icons hidden as they clutter the background and the text labels are unreadable due to them being against a whiteish wallpaper. For this reason i have only included the Four Dock icons in the theme. Enjoy.

I have a jailbroke ipod, but i don't see these themes in installer. how do I get them on?

Um well you can either find the sources for installer (Here:http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8180)

or you can download the .zip's off of here extract em where you can find em (ie. Desktop) and then SSH into your ipod and place them in the right folder (for summberboard themes its /private/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes) just drag the whole folder into that location and restart ur ipod

I made this one for my sister in law, who is a huge hello kitty fan.

It's a combination of two hello kitty themes (Apogee, and Alex7575 from modmyifone) and the wallpaper of Pretty in Pink.

The screenshots are of my german ipod touch. I attached two zip-archives. One with the german icons, one with the english ones.

well at this point its just a background (also using the default dock image) but i wanted a nice minimalistic background for springboard so i thought i would share (i would have just added some nice custom icons by others but i dont like using others work so hopefully ill have the icons made up soon.)

hey dudes i searched before i posted! lol im having some trouble with setting the theme and it actually being displayed, i download it extract the file and then using WinSCP copy the folder into /private/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes/ but when i set it, it doesnt set any ideas? thanks

hey i love your icons, but i don't really like the color is there any easy way you or i could change the outside of them to black and the inside to red? I dont have photoshop but if you could tell me how to color were it will look right ill do it myself, like getting the shadow part to look good,

How do you change the top right where it says iPod and how do you change the charging when it is locked?

to change where it says ipod, go to installer and look for an app called "makeitmine"

Pm if you want it, there so many variations of this running around I didnt really think posting was necessary.


I haven't seen too many other variations with that dock, but it would be nice if the big music Icon was blue and the background (with that dock) like one of the Vista Ultimate backgrounds. :eek:

Here's mine. I decided to go with a more clean and shiny theme. Since I couldn't figure out how to set the number of rows of icons per page, I had no choice but to delete the dock to have a complete view of the BEAUTIFUL 2008 BMW M3. Some of the icons I had to create myself like Othello, iBlackjack, iSolitaire, YouTube, and Clock.

yeah, that bar thing is on the wallpaper, you need to include it. you can just cut it out though and put it on any new wallpaper you want.
