I'm sorry, but I can't like crap. Rap is OK, but not the shit you listen to. :) It's nothing against you so don't be offended but when I listen to music, I look for a meaning in it. I like lyrics that have some sort of meaning and I like a song that relies on more than a beat to sell it. I like Tegan and Sara because of the lyrics and the "out there" sounding music. I like Jack's Mannequin because of the "SoCal" sound and the upbeat piano that I can play :p I don't like rap because it means nothing more than "bitched and hoes" and a beat made in Garageband. It shows a lack of talent, and frankly, a lack of drive to write those songs. I am not impressed with Soulja Boy and others of the like.

i never said i had knowledge of rap, he's a pretty mainstream rapper and i happened to stumble acrost him and liked it and never really looked into anymore rappers. but from ones im hearing today im pretty glad i didnt. Also can you name some good rappers that i could look into thats would be cool
