Does anyone know if the old Apple Remote that came with (i believe) the 3rd Gen iPods works with the iPod touch?

It wont work because the 3rd gen iPod port for the remote is a different size than the port on the iPod touch. If you are looking for a remote that will work check out my earlier post about some things i bought.

ahh, that's right, I forgot it didn't use the dock connector. it used that accessory port next to the headphone jack.
