everytime i try to install certain apps it keeps telling me package download failed and i get working signal next to my wifi status bar but its only certain repositories.

me too. seems like host or system down. think could be useful to downgrade installer cause i have the latest BETA

same here. How would I go about downgrading

for sources that mostly work:

1. delete all sources except apptapp official
2. add source http://gojohnnyboy.googlepages.com/repo.xml
3. install all working sources from installer
4. there you go! all your sources compiled together into a package!(with mininal refresh time)

Just a hunch, but I think some of the repo's might not be working because in this version of installer you need to have the correct hash, some of the older repo's may have not bothered to get the correct hash. Once again, I'm not sure about this, just my guess.
